540 miles completed for this training cycle. Lots of hard work completed, its time to relax, let my muscles recover from the training and get ready to race. Goal is a sub 5 hr marathon, but anything better than 5:29 will be a PR. All my Track workouts point to a 10:10 pace, but all my long runs were in the 12 minute or greater pace. Goal is to keep my pace under an 11 min mile. Just gotta keep my mind in check, and I can do it!!!
Excitement is building up. Checking the weather hourly (and yes its changing hourly). Right now it looks like race day will be 70 degrees, with chance of showers and thunderstorms. (Therefore could be humid).
Anyways, I've put in the hard work, stuck with the plan, and now I'm ready to bring on Chicago!!!
